Reversal Day, what is it?
On May 6th, at the Com' Des Enfants agency, the Reversal Day was held, in other words, an amazing day.
The Reversal Day is an approach that invites us to reverse the roles of the team members for a day. It's an opportunity to shake up the codes and structure of agency life that we've known until now. Strategy and operations blend and meet while pushing us to discover other horizons that were in the office next door.
It is good to specify that the objective is not to take the place of the other, but to understand his role within the walls of the agency as well as all the nuances that make it up. This is an opportunity to turn conventional management, as we know it, on its head.
A federating dynamic, marked by solidarity, which is part of a CSR approach that has become a key element in the foundations of a company.
In other words, it was no longer a matter of just witnessing each other's missions, but of becoming the main actor.
A beneficial change of perspective.
After visualizing and orchestrating it, Reversal Day created an omniscient vision of everyone's missions and talents.
Gwendoline Portais, project manager at the agency, experienced this day in a sporty way with "brain gymnastics necessary to apprehend a position and projects that are not her own."
For Daphne Bednarek, project manager as well, the change was all the more radical since during this extraordinary day, she was able to become the agency's pilot. Director for a day, she was able to discover a whole new aspect of the agency.
"It allowed me to be confronted with missions mainly involving the life of a company (HR, financial) and totally different from what I am used to. "
In other words, it was a question of a 360° rotation, source of constructive and benevolent feedback on the value of the work of each one.
But Reversal Day does not stop at the professional doors, it is part of a human and collaborative dimension.
Aurore Vanacker, Client Director at Com' Des Enfants, was able to take a trip down memory lane by apprehending a position she may have known in her early days: that of Assistant Project Manager, now held by Valentine Lafontaine, in a work-study program.
"Above all, it's a unifying day, under the sign of mutual aid, where each person feels as much concerned with his or her own learning and discoveries as with passing on and helping the person with whom he or she has swapped positions."
A transmission all the more felt by Valentine Lafontaine previously presented who was able to experience a day that was "stimulating, empowering and conducive to understanding theother."
An experience to be repeated?
In short, this day was a source of exchange, understanding and cohesion. This was a first edition which will know several episodes so that each talent of Com' Des Enfants can discover all the facets of the agency.
